In recognition of the tremendous love and support mother caregivers give their children, and the stress that can come from caring for a child with complex medical conditions, Eliana's Light is giving gifts of relaxation to mothers who are in-patient at Children's National Medical Center on Mother's Day. We will bring sachets of organic lavender buds and lavender essential oil to help mothers experience moments of relaxation. Certified aromatherapists and herbalists approved the contents. These are symbolic and also useful gifts to let mothers know we're thinking of them, and wanting to care for them. We're also volunteering as part of the hospital's Mother's Day events.
