Lollipop Kids Foundation and Eliana's Light present: "In The Case of Emergency: How To Keep Your Child Safe". This practical learning event is for families with children who have complex medical conditions and children with disabilities. It will take place Friday, June 29th, from 1pm-4pm, at Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Station 34 in Germantown, MD (20633 Boland Farm Rd, Germantown, MD 20876).
Members of the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service and Police Department will share practical tips on proactive measures you can take to ensure your child’s safety before and during an emergency. Topics we will discuss include: what to do if your child elopes, important information to tell 911 dispatchers in the case of an emergency, how to access and use a "File of Life", and more!
Children will have a chance to tour the station; see police cars, fire engines and trucks up close; and listen to a firefighter in full gear who will promote familiarity with and trust in them in the case of a fire emergency. Refreshments will be served.
