We were thrilled to participate again this year in -- and on the planning committee for -- the Race for Every Child. Team Eliana's Light is supporting the development of an Integrative Care Services division at Children's National Medical Center. We are tremendously grateful to the team of doctors, nurses, therapists, Child Life Specialists, social workers, and others who have been collaborating with us to expand and improve the integrative care services available to patients and their caregivers at the hospital. These types of services meant so much to our daughter, Eliana -- as well as our whole family -- when Eliana was hospitalized for the majority of her 3 1/2 years. Please join us in supporting means that reduce the stress, trauma, fear, pain, anxiety, and depression that many children with complex medical conditions and their caregivers often experience.
