The Science Cafe is a casual forum for community members, medical researchers, and social scientists - anyone who is interested in health or medicine to street scholars. Each Café features a different health topic and a clinical researcher who will demystify what they do, how they do it, and why they think their work may help residents. Community members are encouraged to probe, debate, and share ideas that come from their own experiences in collaboration with medical researchers, social scientists, and community leaders who are thinking big about transforming health in Washington, DC.
